Bina Nusantara English Club is famous for its annual English Olympics. After being held for 7 consecutive year, the last being 'The 2011 Southeast Asian English Olympics (The 2011 SEO)', last year BNEC decided to upgrade the level of its English Olympics to be 'The 2012 Asian English Olympics (The 2012 AEO)'. We welcome participants not only from Indonesia but from all over Asia to compete to be the best in their field in Asia.

This year, we gathered 482 participants from 93 institutions around 4 countries in Asia. BNEC welcomes all high school and university students to compete to be the best in the next annual English Olympics. Stay EXTRAORDINARY!

BNEC Outing Program 2012 was held on 14-15 March 2012 with theme is "Rhythm of Friendship". A song won't sound good if there's a missing rhythm, so does with this Outing Program 2012 theme which means every single person who join this program is a part of the friendship. This year OP destination was Pulau Pari at Kepulauan Seribu. BNEC Outing Program itself is an event that specially made for BNEC Members, BoM, and also LO committees of English Olympics. The main purpose of this event are to have fun, gathering of alumnae and relieving stress. Total participants of this event are 67 people includes committees. For sure, BNEC will always held another fun event for all our BNEC members!

After successfully gathering more than 400 participants in seminar with Microsoft Indonesia, BNEC held another big success seminar in the very next month with ASUS Indonesia. This seminar is held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 3pm - 5.30pm in Auditorium, Anggrek Campus - Binus University. Willy Gunawan, the speaker who is the Product Manager of ASUS Indonesia has succeed to raise more than 450 audiences' attentions with his fun and interesting materials about 'How to Maximize Your Laptop Performance in Your Daily Life' He also gives some interesting quizzes for the seminar participants with some prizes like ASUS Wireless Router, ASUS Cleaning Kit, and some ASUS ZenBook USB. The participants were also given opportunity to join the selection by ASUS Campus Organization (ACO) to get a free training in ASUS Company for one year in the next day which is on April 4, 2012. All participants were happy with the seminar and we look forward another opportunity to cooperate with ASUS Indonesia.

BNEC cooperating with Microsoft Indonesia held a seminar with topic 'ICT to Accelerate Indonesia to be a Knowledge-Based Society Seminar' on Friday, March 16, 2012 in Auditorium - Anggrek Campus, Binus University. The speaker is Mr. Toni Seno Hartono, Microsoft National Technology Officer from Microsoft Indonesia. This seminar is one of the biggest seminar by BNEC which was attended by around 400 people from Binus University, IISIP, and UKRIDA. This seminar has been held successfully with good satisfaction from both BNEC and Microsoft Indonesia. We hope that this seminar could give benefits for those who joined it. We are also looking forward for another cooperation with Microsoft Indonesia.

BNEC is the first ever student organization in Indonesia who breaks the World Record. This event happened on February 21^st, 2010 in Binus University. With many helps from Binus, 6^th NEO and its sponsor, BNEC was able to break the record of "Most People Doing Crossword Simultaneously" with the record of 550 people. This achievement of BNEC is so memorable and BNEC will always do the best to keep improving and trying to reach a better things in the future.
