TOEFL: LADDER TO SUCCESS

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language, where this test is used to determine a person's English language skills. This test focuses on the English used in an academic setting. The TOEFL itself consists of reading, listening, speaking, and writing with a total processing time of approximately 4.5 hours. The reading section of the TOEFL uses formal academic language with high-level vocabulary.

TOEFL is very important and useful for people who want to continue their education abroad. This test is one of the requirements required by several universities in countries where English is the main language. The minimum TOEFL score required depends on each university or school. Schools or universities with tight selection certainly ask for a high TOEFL score. 

In addition to education, TOEFL can also be used to help advance career ladder. People who have high TOEFL scores tend to have good careers. This is because they are considered capable of speaking with foreign clients, mastering English references, and so on. So, it can be seen to increase the value of the company. 

Then, by having a high TOEFL score, it will be easy for you to apply for scholarships abroad. Because generally scholarships have TOEFL requirements as one of the conditions. And sometimes there are universities that list the minimum score that must be achieved 

It can be seen that the advantage of having a high TOEFL score is having a greater chance of applying for universities, scholarships, and jobs. In addition, with a high score, you will find it easier to get permanent residents (visas for immigrants from all over the world, which will be allowed to stay in the destination country indefinitely) issued by certain countries.

Also, for those who are already working, it will be very easy to get promoted when you have a high TOEFL score. The company you work for will see that you have more abilities, so that it is considered capable of bringing or leading the company in a better and successful direction

Therefore, for those of you who are interested in continuing your education abroad or working in a foreign company, you can prepare yourself from now on. You can take English or TOEFL lessons and train yourself with books containing TOEFL questions. Good Luck!
